According to Governor Abbott’s guidelines released on April 27, employers must screen for temperature checks on all employees before entering the workplace. Let us assist.

Dean's Professional Services is now offering staffing and training services specifically for temperature reading.

Do you need temperature readers to re-open your business?

All of our available temperature reader staff are qualified using the DPS 5-point check system. In addition they are trained and have completed the Temperature Reader Micro-Certification offered through EdVantage Training Solutions. 

LEVEL 1

Temperature Reader

  • Non-clinical employees

  • Trained through the EdVantage Training Temperature Reading Micro-Certification

 

$19.50 / hour

LEVEL 2

Temperature Reader

​

  • Clinically trained employees 

  • CNA, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant

    • with diploma / completion from accredited school.​​

  • Trained through the EdVantage Training Temperature Reading Micro-Certification

$24.50 / hour

LEVEL 3

Temperature Reader

​

  • Licensed Clinical Professional 

  • LVN / RN 

  • Trained through the EdVantage Training Temperature Reading Micro-Certification

TRAINING

Dean’s Professional Services and EdVantage Training Solutions is now providing a micro-certification for anyone to complete that provides the basics of understanding thermometers, signs of a fever, safety basics and more. The 2 hour course is accessible online and includes an exam and completion certificate.
