DPS Opens New Dallas Office, Relocates Austin Office

Dean’s Professional Services – Smith & Dean, Inc., national, award-winning staffing solutions firm, recently opened a new office in the Dallas Metroplex to accommodate the rapid growth and leverage the area’s diverse talent pool. Dean’s Professional Services has also moved its Austin Regional office to a more centrally located office space in downtown Austin.  

DPS Announces 2018 Scholarship Winners

Houston, TX - (09/05/18) Dean’s Professional Services announces Ms. Sha’Kendra Brisco and Ms. Brianna Love as the 2018 Gregory Dewayne Smith Memorial Scholarship Winners. Ms. Brisco and Ms. Love accepted their awards from Dean’s Professional Services on Friday, August 31, 2018.

DPS Launches New Ignite Brand Ambassadors Division

Houston, TX (06/22/2018) — DPS is excited to announce the launch of their newest division, Ignite Brand Ambassadors. The Ignite Brand Ambassadors division will provide temporary, temp to hire and direct hire solutions for brand ambassadors, promotional models, greeters, demonstrators, hostesses, and trade show staff.

DPS Donates to Autism Awareness

Houston, TX (05/15/2018) Dean’s Professional Services has raised funds and donated to the Autism Speaks Organization. Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy organization in the United States that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public. Throughout the month of April, DPS collected funds through encouraging employees to wear blue, the official color of Autism, to raise awareness. For every time an employee wore blue throughout the month of April, $1 dollar was donated to the Autism Speaks organization.

DPS Awarded Re-Certification from the Joint Commission

Houston, TX (4/19/2018) – Dean’s Professional Services has achieved the Gold Seal of Approval™ for health care staffing services re-certification from The Joint Commission. On April 13, 2018, Dean’s Professional Services underwent an on-site review of its compliance with national standards that assess how staffing firms determine the qualifications and competency of their staff, how they place their staff, and how they monitor staff’s performance.
